Christmas 2009

We had a such a wonderful Christmas! We decided that we didn't want to be home by ourselves this year so we drove up to Utah and surprised everyone. It was so fun to see both sides of our families. The boys loved spending time with their cousins and it was good to be with everyone during this special time of the year. We hadn't been to Utah for quite a few years, and it was a loooong trip, but we made it and it was worth it!

Brady's X-Mas Program

A few cute pictures from Brady's preschool Christmas program. First the class sang a few cute songs; Brady mumbled a few words and actions, but was pretty shy. Then the teacher had the kids tell what they thought their parents wanted for Christmas. Brady said Tyler and I wanted a new drum stick. Brady broke one of the guitar hero drumsticks so he must have been feeling a little guilty about that one! j/k

Here is Brady on his final day of Little Gym. He loved taking this gymnastics class. The teacher was always so impressed with his coordination. This kid has got so much energy and this was a great way to let him be crazy and not get in trouble for it. He was so proud and excited to get his first medal!

New Haircut!

Yesterday Tyler and Cole went to get haircuts and when they came home this was the surprise I got. Cole decided he wanted to cut off all his gorgeous hair. Isn't this crazy! I didn't even recognize this kid. Brady wouldn't even talk to Cole for like an hour because he wasn't sure about it either. Cole hasn't had hair like this since he was like 2 or 3. It is definitely going to take some time to get used to - but he's still handsome as ever!

Halloween 2009

Our adorable little elephant Max. All of the boys have worn this costume now and I still think it is the cutest thing.

Here's Buzz Lightyear - Brady was so excited to be Buzz this year. He loved wearing his costume and has been my candy monster - he has almost finished it off already!

This is Cole at a friends house getting ready to play Rock Band. Our friends go all out every year and put their big screen in the garage with the disco ball, lights, and smoke to rock out. It is hard to see, but Cole was dressed as Obi Wan Kanobi - some star wars guy. (Sorry. This picture and the next are kind of fuzzy from the smoke.)

And last, but not least, here is Tyler and I. He was dressed as Slash and I was just the rocker wife. We haven't ever dressed up in the past, but decided it would be fun. No one really knew who we were so that was funny.

Halloween was a lot of fun this year. We went to lots of fun parties, trunk or treat, trick or treating, and came home with way too much candy! In fact, we were so busy that we didn't even get around to carving our pumpkins. So the boys carved them up on Tuesday. Oh well - they still had just as much fun I think. Can't wait to do it all again next year!
