My birthday was a week or so ago. The day just started out normal. Tyler went to work. I took the kids to school, came home, exercised, cleaned, and did mom stuff. I had made my own birthday cake the night before and wasn't about to make my own dinner, so I thought when Tyler got home we would go out to eat. Tyler's mom has the same birthday as me and was coming for a visit in a few days so Tyler suggested we just go somewhere fast and easy for dinner and then we would have a bigger celebration when his parents got here. I didn't care where we went really - as long as I didn't have to cook it. Tyler suggested Rubios, and Mexican food always sounds good so I was fine with that. On our way there he turned a different way and said he changed his mind and suggested we go get a bucket of fried chicken at KFC. Uh, NO I said. I hate fried chicken. He knew that, he was trying to trick me. All of a sudden he stops the car and tells me to get out because I had a 7:00pm appt. in that store he stopped in front of. I was totally surprised and looked over to see that we were stopped in front of a spa to get a massage. I was hungry, but he figured I didn't want to go stuff myself right before I went. So I went in and the gal working there told me happy birthday and brought out this bouquet of flowers. She told me I was a lucky girl to have such a nice husband. I told her I totally agree. He is the best. He is always doing things to make me feel so special and loved. This was my first time getting a massage, but certainly won't be my last. It was so awesome. I can't believe I have never gotten one before. I was in heaven.
